At Cavanaugh Building, safety is part of our culture. We plan ahead, train our teams, and take steps to keep every job site safe—for our crews, our clients, and the public. Our teams are trained on risk prevention methods which are built into the way we plan, operate, and build.
Before work starts, we review each site to identify risks and put clear safety plans in place. We hold daily check-ins and regular safety talks to make sure everyone stays informed and focused.
Our team members receive the training they need to work safely. Supervisors are OSHA 30-hour certified, and our crews are OSHA 10-hour trained. We also provide training in:
Training continues throughout the year to help our team remain prepared.
Maintaining a safe worksite also means managing materials responsibly. We track all materials on site using a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) log and ensure our teams can handle them safely and properly respond in the event of exposure.
Ownership and accountability are at the heart of our culture. Everyone on our team is responsible for keeping the site safe. If something isn’t right, we expect people to speak up and take action. Preventing injuries is a shared job.
We work with an outside safety consultant to regularly review our practices, perform site audits, and ensure that we’re meeting industry standards.
At Cavanaugh Building, safety is a promise to our employees, our clients, and the communities we work in. We build with care, work with confidence, and go home safe.
Whether you’re planning a new build or exploring your options, we’re here to help you take the next step with clarity and confidence.
